Via Enos Cerrini, 4, 57021 Venturina Terme LI, Italia

The Museum of Work Culture in Venturina Terme conserves thousands of farming, artisan and industrial tools used in the Val di Cornia in the last 200 years.

The 1,800-square-metre pavilion in Venturina’s fair area house thousands of objects that were used to work the fields, in craftsmanship and in the mines, as well as in everyday life, including wooden toys that children once played with.

The exhibition also includes buggies, tractors, threshing machines and even a perfectly-conserved locomotive from the 1900s, as well as tools used by craftsmen, like a saddler, tinsmith, blacksmith and wainwright.

The museum also conserves Giovanni Lazzerini’s collection of over 1,200 farming objects, like garden hoes and horse tacks for pack animals’ harnesses.
