Tour of the medieval hamlet and monastery, a fascinating place rich in history in the heart of Chianti
From ancient Longobard castle to the Benedictine monastery, immersed in the green Tuscan countryside and surrounded by vineyards and breathtaking views, the Passignano Abbey cherishes centuries of history.
The guided tour starts from the village with a short introductory walk about the origins and the history of the place and then continues in the church from where we will have access to the monastery. The itinerary includes the cloister, the refectory, the monumental kitchen and the beautiful garden.
