Spend a weekend in the founding city of good living, the international network of “Cittàslow“, where its goals include improving the quality of life in towns by slowing down its overall pace. 

Arrival in the morning and accommodation in the hotel. Guided tour of the historic center of Greve in Chianti to discover the historic shops of the ancient town and the typical products of the area. Free time for lunch.

Afterwards, visit an artisan terracotta kiln in Chianti, kiln and exhibition point (about 15 km from Greve). Dinner at a restaurant in the splendid square of Greve in Chianti (complete set menu) based on typical seasonal products and traditional Chianti recipes.

The second day will be devoted to the visit with guided tasting of extra virgin olive oil and food pairings in a family-run farm producing Chianti Classico wine, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Chianina meat, Giaggiolo. The company is located in the historic hamlet of Lamole.

The home made lunch will be based on typical seasonal dishes produced by the company itself with km 0 and organic philosophy, accompanied by 3 different Chianti Classico wine labels. In the afternoon, we will visit the medieval village of Montefioralle, included in the catalogue of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy".
