Taste the two most important local specialties of Montepulciano and Pienza, visit one of the best wineries and taste the famous Vino Nobile

Meet your personal local guide/sommelier and food expert in the morning at your stay in Montepulciano or Pienza.

First of all, we will visit a traditional cheese farm in the surroundings of Pienza: we will enjoy the stories told by the owner as well as learn how he makes his delicious cheese. This area is very famous for the production of the sheep's milk cheese, Pecorino, matured in walnut leaves, wood ash, or hay. We will taste several kind of cheese topped with a few drops of dark chestnut honey!

At lunch, we will be tasting very good local dishes in one of the best traditional restaurants.

In the afternoon, we will head to the amazing countryside of Montepulciano, to visit one of the best wineries and taste the local amazing Vino Nobile D.O.C.G. (the noblemen's wine). We'll visit the ageing cellar, the wineyards, the estate and satisfy your palate with a great wine tasting.

Montepulciano is the "pearl" of Renaissance, a true authentic jewel nested on top of a peak overlooking the stunning Val d'Orcia, a real fairytale-like region!
