Let yourself be conquered by the millenary history of Volterra and by its inhabitants.

Volterra has been awarded Tuscan Capital of Culture 2022.
For the occasion, a special tour has been created, to visit the city as a local. The tour is led by a licensed professional guide, to introduce you to the deep history of Volterra and take you to the discovery of unexpected corners of the city, with cameo appearances from locals and a surprise itinerary that varies slightly each week.

The visit is perfect for families with children, and thanks to funding from the Municipality of Volterra, participation for children under 18 is free and includes a commemorative pen and a fun interactive leaflet that allows an even more engaging experience.

• When - from April 16 to September 24, every Saturday, 11am-1pm
• Meeting point - in front of Palazzo dei Priori, Piazza dei Priori (Volterra's main square)
• Cost - 20€ per person – free under 18 years old
• Languages - English and Italian, the tour will be held in both languages by a bilingual guide
