FotoClub Vinci presents "The Wounded Soul of the World", a photojournalism photo report on the wars and conflicts that are ravaging our planet.
Drawing from the latest edition of the Atlas of Wars and Conflicts in the World, ongoing war events in countries such as Afghanistan, Kashmir, Ukraine and Iraq will be recounted through the display of more than 40 images and through the direct testimony of journalists and photojournalists, winners of international competitions and awards for war photojournalism, who will recount their experience in the field.
The photo exhibition takes place as part of the 4th Vinci Photo Festival at the exhibition halls of the Leonardian Museum from Saturday, March 11 to Sunday, April 16.
Opening on Saturday, March 11 at 4 p.m., in the presence of Giuliano Battiston, author of one of the exhibition sections, the Vinci Photo Club and the editors of the Atlas of Wars and Conflicts in the World.
Also on display with the occasion will be Sandro Bonaccorsi's "MonoEye" project, which, through its 18 graphic illustrations, will share his personal vision of war, of man's destructive soul, to the search for hope, for a way out.
Also scheduled in March and April are thematic photography workshops with photographers and journalists.
