Every summer, Movimento Turismo del Vino Toscana organizes an exciting wine tasting experience. On August 10, and the days just before and after, wine lovers can enjoy a glass of the good stuff under the starry sky.

Numerous cellars and towns offer shows, concerts, expert-led stargazing activities, romantic dinners in the vineyards and special tastings, promoting this beloved Italian product in an original and evocative way. 

Calici di Stelle coincides with the peak of the Perseids meteor shower, typically marked on the Night of San Lorenzo (Saint Lawrence) around Italy (the sky is said to be filled with the martyr’s “tears”.)
